Operation Christmas Crackdown: Deputies make several drug arrests | 911
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Deputies in Brunswick County hit the streets early Wednesday morning in an effort to round up 30-40 people wanted across the county for drug charges.
Officials say the suspects made the list for "Operation Christmas Crackdown" after months of investigations and confirmed sales of drugs and/or guns.
Law enforcement caught nearly two dozen people on the list in only a few hours. Three additional arrests were also made, including a routine traffic stop that turned into a drug arrest.
Those on the round up list who were not arrested are now wanted.
