BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The middle and high school students in Brunswick County competed against each other in the district’s science fair on Wednesday at Odell Williamson Auditorium.

Biological A
- First place-Katy Rollings, South Brunswick Middle, “Eat your iron”
- Second place-Lilah Foster, South Brunswick Middle, “Baldhead Island deer population estimation”
- Third place-Chirstian Smith, Cedar Grove Middle, “The mighty egg”
Biological B
- First place-Maddie Winchester, Leland Middle, “Burning up”
- Second place-Alexandra Szalkiewicz, North Brunswick High, “You can run, but you can’t stop making CO2”
- Third place-Kendal Gore, Cedar Grove Middle, “Plants on painkillers”
Chemistry
