Warrior Ride kicks off in Carolina Beach
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WECT) – Injured service members from all over the country are on a bike trip that started Thursday morning in Carolina Beach.
The Warrior Ride gives injured warriors a chance to share their experiences and bike together.
Thursday morning they road from Carolina Beach to Fort Fisher and took the ferry to Southport.
They’ll bike for about 30 miles Thursday before ending up in Bolivia. They’ll pick up again Friday and finish the ride Saturday.
