OAK ISLAND, NC (WECT) – A winter fishing seminar, hosting by Oak Island’s Parks and Recreation Department, will be held Saturday, Feb. 2 at the recreation center, according to a news release on behalf of the parks and rec. department.
From 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., local fishing captains Jerry Dilsaver and Jimmy Price will share fishing tips and techniques.
Dilsaver will discuss king and offshore fishing, and Price will discuss flounder and inshore species.
The cost to participate is $60 in advance or $70 at the door. Participants will receive bags with samples, along with lunch, door prizes and more.
The event is designed for all anglers.
