BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - With the temperatures expected to drop, a local church is looking for your help to keep others warm.

The Shoreline Baptist Church in Southport is collecting items for the homeless.

The church is located at 4198 Vanessa Drive, and it will be accepting donations Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

If you're looking to help out, here's what they are looking for:

  • Coats
  • Sleeping bags
  • Blankets
  • Hats and gloves
  • Snacks
  • Bottled water

If you can't make it to the event, just call the church and someone will pick your donations up for you.
