BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Several law enforcement agencies have been investigating numerous residential breaking and entering cases that occurred over the past few months throughout Brunswick County.
Officers with the Oak Island Police Department issued a warrant and are offering a reward for the apprehension and prosecution of 33-year-old Hamilton John Ortiz Bones. They believe Bones could be involved in over 50 property crimes throughout Brunswick and Horry counties. Authorities say he's accused of taking flat screen TVs.
The Sunset Beach Police Dept., Ocean Isle Police Dept., Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Holden Beach Police Dept., Alcohol Law Enforcement and other state agencies have reportedly participated in the investigation.
Anyone with information about Bones should contact one of the agencies. Officials did not specify what the reward will be worth.
