BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – MTV reality star Jenelle Evans tweeted Monday morning that charges against her were dropped.
The 20-year-old Teen Mom 2 cast member was in a Brunswick County courtroom for violating a domestic protection order and communicating threats. The original case was scheduled for Feb. 13, but it was delayed until Monday.
She tweeted via @PBandJenelley_1, “COURT IS OVER WITH CHARGES WERE DROPPED WITH THE HANNAH CASE. :) she dropped them.”
Evans was reportedly booked on Jan. 10 for making “harassing phone calls” and “communicating threats” to her former roommate after several photos of her kissing a girl appeared on the web. On Jan. 16, she was arrested again for violating a domestic violence protective order, according to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
Evans, who is from Oak Island, was charged with assault last March after a fight recorded on video. A month later, she received 12 months of probation and community service for a drug paraphernalia charge, according to the Associated Press.
