NC charges dropped against star of 'Teen Mom 2'

WILMINGTON, NC (AP) - Authorities in North Carolina have dismissed battery and drug charges against Jenelle Evans, the star of MTV's "Teen Mom2."

Her ex-boyfriend, Gary Head, pleaded guilty Monday to assaulting her in a June domestic dispute in Leland. In return, three drug charges were dropped against Head.

Judge Marion Warren agreed that the court will review the case in two years and if Head has not been in trouble he will not have to go to jail.

Evans has had 23 charges against her dismissed since she was first arrested in January of last year on breaking and entering charges. She was convicted of simple battery for a fight posted on YouTube.

Evans is originally from Oak Island and was on MTV's "16 and Pregnant" and later on "Teen Mom2."
