Brunswick Co. Board of Education to meet Tuesday evening | Events

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Brunswick County Board of Education has scheduled a meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Here are some items of interest from the meeting’s agenda:

• Board salute of the National Board Certified teachers
• Resolution in support of the restoration of the N.C. Teaching Fellows Program
• Approval of metal roofing project for South Brunswick Middle
• Approval of traditional calendar and Early College High calendar for 2012-2013
• Resolution requesting changes to the school pay date provisions

The meeting is scheduled to be held in the County Commissioners’ Chambers at the David R. Sandifer Administration Building, located at 30 Courthouse Drive in Bolivia.
