Contract approved for old Brunswick Hospital | Health

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Brunswick County Commissioners Monday night approved provisions of a new contract to sell the old Brunswick County hospital.

East Coast Lands One, LLC is offering to purchase the property for $1.75 million.  The company is required to put a deposit down of $87,600.

East Coast Lands One, LLC has not stated what it will do with the facility.

The county will pay about $20,000 to $30,000 per month in energy and utility costs until the property is sold.

Commissioners hope to close on the deal by February 15th.
