Oak Island hires new interim manager | News
OAK ISLAND, NC (WECT) - The town of Oak Island has hired a new interim town manager.
Town council made the announcement on Thursday at its special meeting.
According to the town clerk, Tom Hogg was hired to fill the position of interim town manager while council is in search for a permanent one.
Hogg is from Garner, NC and will officially start Monday, and his work schedule will be Monday through Thursday.
Town council will meet Tuesday with the NC League of Municipalities to further discuss finding a permanent replacement for the position of town manager.
Council will also discuss other budget issues.
