Bald Head Island dredging pushed back | News

BALD HEAD ISLAND, NC (WECT) - Dredging in Bald Head Island will start a little later than expected.

Village officials say the dredge arrived, but a pipe still needs to be shipped.

That, in turn, will set back the start date.

The Army Corps of Engineers was expected to start pumping sand next week, but that will now be pushed back to Feb. 1.
