Produce stands can stay in Brunswick County...for now

Produce stands can stay in Brunswick County...for now

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Commissioners in Brunswick County have decided to leave the issue regarding roadside produce stands along until there’s more discussion on the issue.

Commissioners banned the produce stands last year and heard a lot of backlash from residents and vendors, many of whom have continued to operate along the county’s roads.

Now, leaders plan to hold public hearings on whether to allow the stands to say in business before making a final decision.
