BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Teen Mom 2 star and Brunswick County resident Jenelle Evans has had her share of run-ins with the law in the past, but Tuesday, it was her husband who was behind bars.

Courtland Rogers, 27, faces four counts of assault on a female and two counts battery of unborn child, a Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed.

Arrest warrants show that warrants were issued for Rogers’ arrest Jan. 23, while the dates that the alleged offenses happened are listed as Nov. 16, 2012, Jan. 11, Jan. 14 and Jan. 21.

In the warrant regarding the November incident, Rogers is accused of picking Evans up, throwing her against a wall, bashing her head on the wall and punching her in her head, back, stomach and legs.

Rogers is accused of grabbing Evans, then pregnant, by her hair, on Jan. 14, and grabbing her hair and slamming her against a wall on Jan. 11.

Additionally, Rogers is accused of grabbing Evans by her hair, smashing her head against the floor and wrestling her while trying to take her vehicle keys on Jan. 21.

Evans, 21, reportedly suffered a miscarriage Jan. 25.

Rogers left the detention facility he was being held at Wednesday. He took to his Twitter account, writing that he wanted to “shout out” to the Brunswick County Jail for taking a “nice” mug shot of him, adding that he is “sexy.”

Evans has been noticeably silent on her Twitter account since March 2, as she’s been in rehab for addiction to drug use, E! News reports.

Prior to leaving for rehab, Evans had been hanging out with former fiancé Gary Head, and it seemed like she was done with Rogers. “man gary is wish I never married this POS so we could of just went and got married so I would be GARY'S wife” she tweeted Feb. 22.

But on March 1, Head tweeted that he was still in love with his ex-girlfriend, and that it was a mistake to bring Evans into things.

Rogers says that he has been in contact via phone with Evans since leaving for rehab.

Both Evans and Rogers are parents from previous relationships: Evans to a 3-year-old son, Jace, and Rogers to a daughter, Jordan.

Evans and Rogers married in December 2012.
